He's a good ref - he did an excellent job that night. I wish we would have had him for Hopkins vs. Wright when B-Hop was getting away with all those headbutts, or Peter vs. Toney, when Peter kept hitting Toney with rabbit punches!
Miranda resorts to headbutts and low blows when he's losing! His doing it is an indication of his limitations as a fighter.

I remember Miranda's low blows against Pavlik - I don't know how Kelly ever survived those direct hits to his gonads!

most american boxing experts are douches anyway......they are biased as **** for their fighters...i like graham housten even though he is kinda dumb sometimes....at least he follows all the fights and gives respect to both fighters....the "experts"who had miranda winning that fight are the same douches that had hopkins over taylor 116-112 both times, margarito over williams, ngoudjo over mailgnaggi, etc...

i dislike abraham.....and am a fan of miranda....and even i know its IMPOSSIBLE to give Miranda 9 rounds or more......which is what he needed to win that fight

Regardless of the points, when a Doctor and a fighter say the fight cant continue, have you ever seen a fight go on? Bull**** at its finest!

well only the referee can stop the fight...besides i think abraham didnt know he'd lose if he didnt continue......thats his mistake not knowing....but its not like he wanted to quit even if he lost....

Some of the point deduction was laughable though, The "Lowblows" were not low at all, They were right on the beltline but apart from that i still think AA deserve the UD..He showed a lot of heart in fighting on from the 5th round and actually winning some at the end.

technically, anything BELOW the belly-button(starting where the cup is placed) is illegal.....
of course the high part of the cup should be allowed IMO because anyone can make mistakes and go a little lower...

most of it was not miranda's fault anyway, abraham was bouncing a lot on the ropes........but i think 3 points less were justified..

Heart and courage does not win you fights. I think he is a warrior with huge balls to finish that fight. But the man barely fought. No way did he deserve the win.
