    Abraham/Pavlik/Hopkins

AA is being dissed for his level of opposition. The talk of Pavlik is pretty much that he hasn't done anything yet, and it's too early to say if he's one of the better middleweights of all time. Meanwhile Bernard is considered one of the best if not the best middleweight of all time and the opposition that he's faced is not really better. SO maybe we should lay off the "oh he is a bum" remarks.

    Abraham:
    Ian Gardner
    Hector Velazco
    Eastman
    Kingsley Ikeke
    Kofi Jantuah
    Edison Miranda
    Demers
    Ghevor
    El****
    Ayala

    Pavlik:
    Zuninga
    McKart
    Zertucci
    Miranda
    Taylor (2)

    Hopkins:
    Segundo Mercado
    Steve Frank
    Joe Lispey
    William Bo James
    John David Jackson
    Glen Johnson
    Andrew Council
    Simon Brown
    Robert Allen (3)
    Echols (2)
    Syd Vanderpool
    Keith Holmes
    Trinidad
    Daniels
    Hakkar
    Joppy
    DLH
    Eastman
    Taylor (2)

PS: Bhop lost twice to Taylor, drew with Mercando and his biggest two wins are against a former lightweight and a former welterweight.

I don't think Abraham is a bum by any means. I think there is something not right with him though. I personally think he has trouble making weight and is suffering from stamina issues. He has to take too many breaks in the ring. Against someone like Pavlik that would be suicidal.

Abraham does seem like a good guy and he now wants to fight outside of Germany. I wish him luck but I think by the end of the year you will see him venturing to Super Middleweight.

Pavlik is still not totally proven, but seems to have the balls to face anyone. Now it is up to Arum to let him. If Arum doesn't, well then it shows he does not have much confidence in him.

Hopkins has proven his worth to me. His fights past the age of 40 does not affect what he has accomplished in my opinion. Sure he fought his share of fringe guys, but when you chock up over 20 defences, well there are bound to be some in the mix.
