Give K-9 credit Ouma fought hard in this fight ...He know he needed this win really bad ...so that made ouma a dangerous fighter. K-9 just dominated him made ouma do what he wanted him to do. You have to think OUma is a former champion with all of this experience in the world went the distance with Jermaine Taylor, a southpaw, and brings serious pressure. Everybody keep saying what ouma didn't do and he's washed up. It's what K-9 did in the fight, Ouma couldn't do anything. I don't understand how this huge win by K-9 couldn't impress the boxing world.

But who cares what the boxing world thinks as long as the DOG keeps winning!

Yes K-9 did win and not many expected him to...

Given how Ouma has fallen off i did expect him to pull out a win.

However K-9 still needs to put in some more work. he didnt look THAT good against ouma and infact he looked really rough around the edges in parts of that fight...

he wasnt fighting well on the inside (ouma 9 times out of 10 was winning on the inside)

he needs to expand his list of punches...the 2 punches that he used most were the JAB and the right hand...

he needs to add in a hook and maybe an uppercut from time to time.

i think if you put him in with someone like cory spinks at this point cory will JAB him to death. its not too hard to basically just beware of the right hand especially someone as experienced as say verno phillips or cory spinks.

he needs a little work. i want to see him do well but you cant put him in there with some of the current best jr. middleweight fighters with not being able to fight on the inside and basically stressing just the right cross.

a fighter of that level should easily be able to counter the right for the whole 12 rounds.

he might need to try a different trainer or put in some more work with other top 15 jr middleweights...but dont go inside the top 7 and expect a win at this point.

props on the win to k-9 though...i was happy to see him win it...
