the beat to that track (and especially papoose's verse that begins at 1:46 of the track) just pump me up and REALLY seem good for a boxing entrance.
the only reason i dont think i've heard it in an entrance is BECAUSE its not a popular top 40 song or anything.
and if you dont know who he is you could check out an unofficial site of his: allpap.com
there you can download all his mixtapes (he has signed a major deal but not released a major label album yet) but he did put out 20 mixtapes since 2004..."recognize a g" is on the 4th mixtape (entitled: Election Day) on that website...i think its the 15th track on that mixtape...check the track listing...`
and for those that dont know:
currently Papoose is the best lyricist ALIVE (not better than the best who passed on) in my opinion.
other than that
2-Pac - Ambitionz of a Ridah
and
Big L - Size em up
there are a ton more songs i could list but those are the first 3 that came to mind.
Pap is the best lyricist alive???? Wow
"...Ill have you lookin at your feet like a foot DR" - Pap
Lupe, Styles > Pap
My ring entrance = I Could Just Kill A man - Cypress Hill
Possession by Otep or any other song by the band
Down With The Sickness by Disturbed or any other song by the band
Walk by Pantera
Bodies by Drowning Pool
Does anyone know the song that was playing just after Judah had gotten into the ring after his entrance, during his fight with Cotto? Sounded pretty cool.
I also dug Wlad coming out to "Can't Stop" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Best thing about that whole ****ing fight.
Somebody said on thread before that 'Gangsta Music' by Dipset makes them wanna fight. Not a bad choice. 'Adrenaline Rush' or 'Violent' by Obie Trice would be good fight songs to enter the arena to for me. Wouldn't rule out 'The Baddest Motha****a Alive' or 'Somebody Want They Ass Whipped' by Fiend either.
