No Brian Vera-Andy Lee Rematch Says Ward

It appears a rematch between "Contender" star Brian Vera and middleweight prospect Andy Lee is not going to happen, according to Vera's promoter Jeff Wald, who sees no reason for Vera to fight Lee again.

Now, thats just chicken sh** of the Vera camp. He knows he will get KO'd if they fight, thats why he dont want to rematch Lee. I wonder if he wanted a Jaidon Codrington rematch and was denied.

Vera would beat his ass again.

Lee is just another overrated punk, like Duddy.

I wouldn't put too much credit into this news, it's a money issue, if the price is right there is going to be a rematch.

Vera will take it if there is enough money to be made, but why should he take it for 20K? he just beat one of the most ballyhooed prospects to come in some time, Vera needs to do what is best for his career not what people on message boards think.

It sucks, but it would be ****** for him to rematch Lee. Why get KO'd brutally for 20k when maybe you could parlay this into a bigger fight and get KO'd for 100k?

Good decision for both. Each boxer has more to lose with a rematch than they do fighting someone else.

Sometimes it's better to simply move on.
