I'm from the philly area, and I'm rooting for Calzaghe

That's comical. Enzo Calzaghe complaining about Hopkins not fighting a true fight . Hopkins is a warrior. I guess passing of guys like Tocker Pudwill as contenders and a WBO title as THE championship for ten years is true boxing. I guess selling 60,000 tickets to a bunch of morons to watch Calzaghe fight Peter "the welterweight" Manfredo is the definition of the heart and soul of boxing?:wank:

Hey, You know who really SUCKS? Enzo "the gay midget" Calzaghe....

ouch! I can't believe I watched it all.

I got that good feeling you get from reading a **** book that you really pushed yourself to read to the end.
Yeah, it's a pretty sloppy, unexciting fight.

Get this -- I watched the Hopkins-Wright AND both Taylor fights on slow motion a couple of nights ago. Why... I'm not sure. I just wanted to study Hopkins' strengths and weaknesses, but I must admit to being close to falling asleep on more than one occasion. Not very interesting.

              Yeh its not about that.

Its just that Americans would rather see Winky fight than Joe C, Or Kessler, Or David Haye. And its ludicrous. Because there is so much talent over there, not getting recognised because of this nonsense.

Hopkins does need a slow pace.

Anyway Joe can't fight a slow pace. Joe just needs to do what he always does.

If Hopkins wins then he as alot better than most people including me think he is.

He does have a sneaky right hand that is deceptively quick.

                  He'll land that on Joe.

That **** aint never going to be enough.

He has to knock Joe out. Doubtful.

Unless he makes it boring enough to make it hard to score and gets a semi-gift.

He at this point is pretty much Johnny Nelsonesqe...

Agreed. If JC's chin wasn't ridiculously solid I would be slightly worried, but the guy seems to walk through huge bombs (as he did from Reid, for example) but WTF, I don't understand how he remained upright.

While I would never be foolish enough to count Hops out completely, my guess is he's gonna need a lot more than the power he possesses and some slick counter right handers to have any effect on Calzaghe. And he certainly ain't winning on points, as far as I'm concerned.
