    Witter-Bradley set for May 10!

Hennessy Sports has announced that the WBC light welterweight title fight between Junior Witter and Timothy Bradley will take place on the same May 10th bill as Carl Froch’s WBC super middleweight final eliminator against Denis Inkin. Witter will be making his third defense of his WBC title against his number one WBC mandatory contender in Bradley. The fight will jointly top a huge night of boxing from the Nottingham Arena. The undercard will include the highly anticipated English title fight between John Murray and John Fewkes. "It will be great to showcase my talent in front of a nationwide audience on ITV1," said Witter. "The great British public will now be able to see the fighter who Ricky Hatton is avoiding. I‘m defending my WBC title, the most prestigious belt in boxing. A title Hatton has never been able to win; in fact he got knocked out fighting for the WBC title in his last fight. The fight will be broadcast in the UK on ITV1 with further fights from the undercard broadcast on ITV4.

That's a pretty good card now. Hopefully Showtime will televise it in the US.

i wish DHop wouldnt have pulled out........ i was excited about seeing Witter on TV here....... i hope showtime shows the Bradley fight..... but i fear the worst.

one good thing.......... if Witter impresses in front of a UK "nationwide audience", it will only step up the demand for Fatton to give him his shot.

Damn! Witter's on a undercard for a ****ing Carl Froch fight!!! Priceless. At least he'll be fighting in front of a crowd for a change.

I'll be there im suprised at this should be great, on ITV so great exposure for Froch & Witter, I bet it will be billed as a duel fight rather than him on a undercard!

              wow.

Those people who bought a ticket for Froch must be happy now. Good stuff.

It's true though how comes Witter has literally no fans. I'm sure if he was a Londoner he'd have more support.
