If by some chance all that happens, I wouldn't be surprised if PBF just retired. No one would really stand out from the rest to have a shot at fighting him.

the most likely choice would be Zab Judah, besides Oscar I believe he has the best chance to beat Floyd, and considering they both have big fan bases it would be a pretty big fight.

        Good call.

Either Quintana or the winner of Mosley-Judah would be the biggest threat.

Maybe Junior Witter too. He hasn't lost in a really long time, and has a style that is awkward as ****.

And what is Oscar KO'd Floyd after losing to Forbes? Because we all know win or lose oscar will fight Floyd, and Floyd will accept it.

Do you really think Floyd would factor that into his business decision?

How about Steve Forbes? I can already see it:

Mayweather: "I think it's a great fight, Steve Forbes deserves this fight after the upset win over Oscar Delahoya. He deserves to get paid and I think it's a great fight for the fans. I think me and Forbes will put on a great fight for the fans. I think this will be the third biggest fight in history of boxing right after Mayweather/Delahoya and Mayweather/Hatton. I will put on a dominating performance and at the end of the day I am the face of boxing and P4P best, nobody can deny that".

              And

              Ricky Hatton lost to Lazcano
Vegas should give odds on this scenario...

              why?

because i think its near impossible for all of those events to unfold that way.

I think the LEAST unlikely scenario is Forbes beats De La Hoya/cotto loses to gomez...i could see hatton losing and cintron/margarito fighting to a draw before oscar and miguel losing...

however i think even with all the luck in the world the most that happens is hatton loses.

margarito v. cintron should be too much of a brawl to go 12 rounds...i think that fight almost certainly ends in a knockout.

De La hoya; we're talking about a great of his own era against (not a top fighter...)we're talking about forbes...forbes...FORBES...not bernard hopkins, or floyd mayweather jr or shane mosley...we're talking about a guy who is no where NEAR the opponents de la hoya has lost to...even if forbes fights a career fight i think the best he does is win 3-4 rounds but i still see de la hoya to win a big UD or a late fight knockout (he might keep forbes around to put in the work and try to close the show late).

Gomez is turning into quite the fighter but he's no p4p fighter...miguel cotto is...miguel cotto is experienced; smart; and a very good body puncher/pressure fighter.

i dont think gomez makes it 12 rounds...i say a knockout around the 8th/9th round.

Ricky hatton will more than likely win via knockout (probably by pressuring and out working lazcano...

only way i see hatton losing is if he doesnt rebound from the mayweather loss (you dont know how a fighter will take his first loss)...

but i would be surprised if even 2 of those scenarios happened.

My god are you ******. That's why the title of this thread specifically said HYPOTHETICALLY speaking. You don't have to write novel about it to prove to me that there is no chance of it happening.

NSBR: Vladimir 303 makes another thread about Mayweather Cotto and DLH?

RN: No way man that dude talks about lots of other fighters.

                  NSBR: Really? Like who?

RN: Well, he um he posted some threads about Barack *****.

                  NSBR: Barack ***** isn't a boxer.

                  RN: But he's black (kinda).

                  NSBR:............

RN: And famous. Plus vlad is playing to the target audience, you know the old trick, never mention any boxers except Mayweather DLH Hatton (for the European contingent) or Cotto. Works a treat.

NSBR: But he mentioned Margarito Steve Forbes and Gomez in this thread.

RN: Yeah but if you notice they were mentioned in the context of opposition for the aforementioned greats. In reality he didn't know about those fighters until the fights against Cotto DLH and PFB were announced.

NSBR: Oh look here comes a Mexican.

I can understand if you go after the Horus's the Viva_mexican's and some other strange characters but that's not me.

I don't have to explain myself to you but I've made threads about the Casamayor's, Juan Diaz's, the Winky Wright's etc,. I've made some serious threads, some satirical ones.

                      Some Flopped, some were good.

So stop being a ***** playing the thread police......it's not getting you anywhere. You're not that good of a poster to criticize anybody.
