A few years ago I would have definatly have said Hatton. His fights against Olivera and Phillips were action packed fights. Those were the fights that made me a big Ricky Hatton fan. But since the Tszyu fight Hatton's style has been terrible. I hate hugging tactics and Ricky has certainly been using those kind of tactics recently.

Witter on the other hand is almost the complete opposite. At about the time Hatton was entertaining against Olivera, Witter was stinking the place out against Kotelnik. The Kotelnik fight was a poor showing from Witter where he went to sleep in the second half of the fight and in many peoples eyes was lucky to get the decision. But of late I have been warming to Witter's style. The Corley fight was an interesting spectacle and the Harris fight Witter showed he can box on the front and back foot and for the first time I enjoyed a Junior Witter fight.

To answer your question, for me, both fighters have kind of evened themselves out, so it is down to their next fight to decide who I enjoy watching most.

ive seen lots of Witters fights thru the internet.......... so i know that calling him dull is a joke......... he has mostly done what he had to do with what was put in front of him......... dull, uninspiring opponents..... when opponents are near his level, his style makes for exciting fights
