    Oh Carlos!!!

I can understand the money aspect, but Carlos sounds like a little sucker saying besides i want to fight on June 14, not June 7th, what the hell is the problem with fighting a week earlier, the clown needs to give his reasoning....He got the win of his life, he knows the next time he fights he'll lose that title, so I guess he's trying to hold on to it as long as he can without actually fighting.......give my man BERTO a SHOT!!!

If it's in the clause and he signed it, he should honor it. But he also needs to get fair compensation for the fight. So Williams camp has to give a fair deal if they really want him to honor the contract.

He'd leave Berto staring at the rafters though.

I agree, but that rematch clause must have some weight if Ndou is getting a rematch after losing by 120-107.

Hopefully Williams will just go elsewhere because I don't agree with rematches when one guy won comfortably without controversy. Unless it's down the road.

I don't think Berto's camp even wants a big shot yet.. They're pushing their prospect perfectly..IMO

What has Berto done to deserve a title shot?!

That whole "I want to fight on the 14 and not the 7th" crap sounds suspect, but then again he hasn't stated a reason why. Maybe he gots a good reason.

                    It was 120 to 107, not 117.

Also, I believe fighters should man up and honor their contractual obligations. That being said, I'm not saying Quintana doesn't want to live up to his part of the bargain. We don't know the wording in the original contract. Maybe it stipulated that he'd make the same amount in a rematch? He'd be ****** to agree to that, but if he did, he must honor it.

The date thing might have something to do with his personal life. Maybe it's his wedding anniversary or his kid's birthday. Hell, it might even be Hooker Day in Moca for all we care. He gets to negotiate the date of the fight, just like any other fighter does.

If I were him, I'd be asking for more money, too.

It's obvious the fans arent the only ones worried about his defense and punch resistance. His team has been lining him up with guys that have no chance of realy hurting him. From what I read his next opponent is slower than Baldomir and throws wide punches. His last opponent hit about as hard as Calderon.
