CALZAGHE at 175.....thoughts?

Joe is a big man. Super middle for a man of his age is not on. He might have lost eventually to some guy who wouldn't never have been able to beat him a few years a go.

his shots seemed to have good pop, and speed in the vid in the other thread. he has struggled to make 68 for a while so i think the extra 7 will of course help him out. i am most wondering how his hands are holding up, and being that he is almost ready to retire i hope he lets his power go a bit more against bhop.

7 lbs is nothing for the higher weight classes unless Joe was busting his ass to make 168 which I dont think is the case , 175 will suit Joe better than it does Hop .

That's why I think Pavlik has a chance against him if he goes back down. I'd rather he stays at 175 now.

I dunno Pavlik would be a calculated risk. He ain't THAT good. He is pretty slow and one-paced

I'm thinking someone who matches him for speed. out of the guys at super middle. A guy like Mundine, someone he would have battered to **** a few years ago but whose speed keeps them competitive with Joe if Joe slips a little.

**** all reason for Joe to ever fight Mundine or a Bute anyway.

I reckon if Joe beats Hopkins, he should get a belt at light heavy and get the **** out personally.

Unless Roy Jones gets a strap at light heavy.

Chad Dawson at this stage would just be plain silly.
