Juan Diaz contract gives him 8 fights under GBP

Financial terms of the deal, which included a signing bonus, were not disclosed but Savannah told ESPN.com that the agreement goes through December 2010 and calls for Diaz to fight eight times -- twice more this year and three times in each of 2009 and 2010.

"And I am hoping it lasts through Juan's career," Savannah said of the deal.

"Very relieved," said Savannah, who said he regretted signing with King. "A lot of other promoters made proposals to sign Juan and I wanted to go with each of them, but after meeting with [Golden Boy CEO] Richard [Schaefer] in Las Vegas at the Pacquiao-Marquez fight [on March 15], I felt pretty comfortable. We've been talking for the past couple of weeks. I have a good feeling about it. I felt very comfortable with Richard. I told him over the weekend we better wrap this thing up because you know how I am. It's a good fit I think."

I am happy about this, that means he will fight 2 more times this year. I think he should fight a comeback fight in houston vs like a Javier Jauregui or Edner Cherry guy on Boxing After Dark or even ESPN try to get ratings. I am very excited, He will be back on top in no time

Yeah, at first I wanted to see the same. But you watch the Freitas fight all the way up to the Nate fight. And you can notice how Juan stopped dippin and slippin punches, he started to step to his left and right even less and he started standin infront of his guys even more.

If people think Juan is just a pressure fighter that throws his hardest shots for 12, they're dead wrong. Juan had great footwork, headmovement, and a jab. Dude would dip under one punch, take a step in any direction, and then unleash 3's 4's and 5's. He'd rarely actually stand up in a shell D and absorb that much.

yeah... having that bad a cut really took him off his gameplan i think he panicked and got off what he was supposed to do, business as usual.

From the first round he looked kinda lethargic though, I don't know. I'm just interested how he looks in his next fight. If goes back to makin his guy miss, I think it'll be safe to say that he's back, and that the Nate bout was just an all around bad night.

Nate will beat his ass again.. Those baby fat muscles doesn't affect Nate..

If a Shot and Past his Prime Fighter Like Campbell beat hiss Ass before.. Campbell will beat his ass again and make Juan Diaz Quit boxing if they fight again.
