After Mikkel Kessler suddenly pulled out of the highly anticipated May 24th fight with Edison Pantera Miranda, it left Miranda wondering who would be his next opponent. Miranda has made it very clear that he will fight anyone, anywhere as long as the offer is somewhat reasonable, and he has backed this up. However, as of now, no one has stepped up to bat. So, Pantera is calling out Lucian Bute to step up and take the challenge. "I find it frustrating that I’m simply trying to fight the best in the world and no one will offer me a shot. I know many writers and fans think I talk a lot of trash, but at the end of the day I bring excitement into the ring. I am willing to fight the best out there and Bute is the champion of the world so I am asking him to be a man and fight me." Bute reportedly does not have a fight scheduled and is also looking for a voluntary defense of his title sometime near May. Miranda stated, "I am willing to go into his backyard and fight him. If he does not take this fight, than he is a coward just like Mikkel Kessler."

Yeah, it's incredibly refreshing to see someone call out EVERYONE. Everyone gives Margarito for calling out Mayweather for 98 years and a day. Never taking the time to realize that it was only one person. Miranda's actually looking for someone. ANYONE. Not just one fighter, ANYONE. He's honestly closer to the most feared man in boxing then Margarito ever has been. (Not saying EVERYONE fears Miranda, just saying....)

I hope Bute excepts, I've been wanting to see more of Bute, anyway.

The only problem with Andrade/Miranda is that it's not the MOST time for Librado to heal up and train in. It might be considered unfair in a sense. I also think Miranda is tryna keep his date. However, the fight itself is AMAZING.

Lucian Bute would defeat Miranda. Any world class super middleweight would beat him.

Miranda's twice fought good opponents, and twice lost to them. He's never beaten anybody.

He should be calling out other clubfighters like himself. He'd have a better chance against Peter Manfredo.

He may lose, and whats your point? Isn't everyone biased? Just for different reasons? You like a certain style of fighter, a certain match up, a certain fighter, from a certain area, for certain reasons. Some reasons are better than others.. BUt at the end of the day Miranda isn't the WORST fighter in the world. He has a chance.

And to whoever said that Miranda has beaten no one, he sure beat the HELL out of Abraham. A fighter I think has really been protected his WHOLE CAREER, other than Miranda.

It's funny that Bute and Abraham are better fighters because they haven't lost. Yet, Miranda gets degraded because he has lost, except that he STOOD UP AND FOUGHT SOMEONE WORTH A ****. The only time Bute OR Abraham has done that is against Miranda, and IMO, Miranda won the fight.
