Players like Kobe and Iverson are so popular because they actually play with some passion. And the Playoffs are fun too cause very tries. The reg season is dreadful to watch IMO
I agre 1000000% the college atmosphere is something special.

Try the race issue. What race is he...then show him a successful exciting fighter of that race. If he's white...Pavlik.....so on and so forth.

And seeing as you live in New York...I can understand. The Knicks represent the NBA at its absolute worst.

Just take some time to watch a quarter of tonights Celtics/Suns game. You will see how good the NBA is right now. And they don't mope and crawl across the court, all the best teams except for the Spurs play high tempo.

Check the Warriors out too, you'll see what I mean...
aha great point Knicks are beyond bad, Bulls are ok i love watching them as well, just love these march madness games for college.

yea the knicks are very difficult to watch. But i do loooove the warriors. Very passionate crowd and it translates into a very passionate team. When they were in the playoffs it was crazy. I was definetly rooting for them.

Ill check out the celtics-suns game

I cannot get into college basketball only because I am not familiar with the names.

College Basketball is mainly a hometown event so the people in the area support it and know about the new student players.

Yeah there are some boring boxing fights, just like I have been bored to death with some mma fights.

but wrestling, omg, in boxing you have offensive and deffense, movement, speed power and much more
He told me that he couldn't get into it because he doesn't know the background of the guys and he likes to know them...also he said it was one dimensional and he kept saying he was like shoot in or kick his legs.

he is White but he would probally find that pavlik fight boring as well. I am done trying to convince him, it just ain't some peoples cup of tea. He was saying that in the pacman fight that the guys rarely traded they were just moving around side to side and looked scared to throw punches.
The only fights he seems to like are when guys are swinging wild he enjoys watching those backyard fights on youtube where the guys are swinging wild non stop.
