Quintana - Williams not $igned yet

According to the PR newspaper Primera Hora, the rematch between Paul Williams and Carlos Quintana has not been signed due to monetary issues. Apparently, they are offering Quintana the same payday as the first fight, $250,000, and he believes he is entitled to more.

I have to agree with Quintana here. He might not be the draw, and he might not deserve parity, but Williams made $1.2M for the first fight. There is no reason Carlos shouldn't make at least $500 - 600K, at least.

good for quintana, if he dont get the extra money he should walk, theres plenty of fights there for him, although if he swallows his pride, beats williams again (and he would, i reckon) then the WW division is his oyster. Tough call for him and his management

Yeah Williams has no room to bargain what so ever. Especially when it was an 8-4 fight at worst.

lol that's total bull****, Quintana is holding the belt and Williams is asking for the rematch therefore his cut should be a lot more than what's being offered to him, what a joke.
