Miranda: "I Know Kessler is Afraid of Me"

HOLLYWOOD, FL – Apparently, it was too good to be true - a super middleweight showdown between a former world champion, Denmark’s Mikkel Kessler, and one of the sport’s brightest young stars, Edison Miranda, to be held on May 24th and aired on Showtime. But it’s not to be after Kessler pulled out of the bout today, giving no reason for his withdrawal.

i like miranda, but kessler would seriously knock him out and make him look silly, like pavlik did.

Why would Kessler fight a 10 rounder?

The thing is Kessler is better, and he shouldnt be afraid.

But he obviously is reluctant to fight. It being a 10 round fight should have been the first bad sign.

Kessler demanded a 10-round fight. They refused to even discuss a 12 round fight.

this situation is weird, if kessler really is backing out i don't get it, he fought a good fight with the best in the division and has a similar style to a guy who already knocked miranda out so whats the problem? there has to be some other complication involved, other than kessler is afraid?
