That song was written long before that fight ever happened. It's about a former featherweight champion who died after a fight in the mid 1960's. The Davey Moore you're speaking of died in a freak accident.

No, I know that. like I said, I just tend to apply the the song to the more recent Davey Moore. I guess just because I haven't seen the fight from the previous Moore, And the Duran one was a pretty good beating.
