Boxer reactions after fights and throughout their careers.

I think many internet fans forget that Boxing is these guys lives. For many fighters out there, Boxing is not just a hobby. It's not some after school activity. Winning a fight is their corporate promotion, getting signed to a major fight deal is their successful job interview, losing a major fight is like being fired, losing a close decision is like working overtime and still getting fired, having to pay sanctioning fees is like buying your own office products, etc..etc...etc....

So when you see some fighters react, whether they throw fits (not necessarily condoning it), cry, shout robbery, in denial, yell, jump, backflip, etc...understand that this is what they do for a living...as Toney said, "This is boxing, you don't PLAY boxing".

Just wanted to throw my cents out there.

Yeah that's why I get angry at people when they start blowing up at certain things people say after a fight. There are however special circumstances (Darchinyan v.s. Doniare) Where the loser was way out of line............that warrants some type of criticism.

But for instance, LMFAO people were angry at Casa for his attitude after the fight against Katsidis? I'd like to take this time to point out............that Joel Casamayor is one of the most self centered people in boxing.

Anyone nicknamed El Cepillo is ****ing vane.

He's as self centered as any Mayweather will ever be.

Boxers are professionals just like the rest of civilization. They need to act like professionals. It's their jobs and just because they're fighters doesn't give them the right to whine, *****, complain, etc. Suck it up and press forward like the rest of our society.

I don't care if a boxer bitches after a fight. However, I do have a problem when a boxer keeps bitching years after a fight.

well what's more sad is that some fighters today are just getting in the ring just to get money and act ******. i appreciate those boxers who really get in there put everything on the line because that's their job and that's what they love to do. unlike mayweather who doesn't give **** to the fans, run and run, acts like a total fool which is humiliating to people who loves boxing. i have respect for all the boxers that even if they lose they stand up and fight again. unlike mayweather again who ducks everybody who has skills and talks ****.
