Is Larry Merchant a nice guy?

He seems pretty cool on boxing interviews, my question is that if you see him in public would he be a prick if you went up to him for a pic or try to talk boxing with him lets say in a bar.

i like larry, he's been around a long time, and i find him to be a good boxing commentator. personally i dont even know what the whole beef is about. yes he's not a young man, and doesnt shoot words out of his mouth like the machine-gunned max kellerman(who's also good), but he's been around and knows the boxing game well

Theres afew online videos where he was interviewed on vacations or even boxingscene after conferences and whatnot. He seems like a real cool guy that you could just sit around and talk boxing with for hours. You gotta understand when a guy is on the job, he won't be exactly how he is off the job. Job stress and people telling you how to act on the air can make a BIG difference.

I met Merchant once and he was super cool. He was willing to talk as long as I wanted to. Lampley on the other hand, is kind of snobby if he doesn't know you. I've never met Lederman but a lot of people have told me he is very friendly.

it's something that ive always thought of lampley, this guy is a suspect to me. doesnt seem like a talkative social animal when he's not prepped with the mic and the headset.

Larry is the man and he doesnt suck up to anyone like Kellerman does, hes not afraid to say anything to anyone and actually knows what hes talking about, I wish somebody woud just shoot Kellerman the guy pisses me off
