          Floyd Mayweather happened to it.

I know, i hate to say it, but it's true. He had so much hype surrounding him, people who never watched a bout before decided to. I dont like PFB, but i have to give him credit for helping to bring boxing back to the mainstream attention.

I didn't know that Mayweather was involved in Vazquez Marquez trilogy, Pac Marquez II, Williams Quintana, Pavlik Taylor, etc.

It's not the only division in boxing and if there is so much action going on in the lower ones.. why do we need it to be cracken? One thing I noticed though is that gone are the days where the MMA boys who would make an account just to come in here and rag on boxing..Who's laughing now?
...This thread had potential until this part right here.

things are good at the moment. but you have got to think 10 years down the line. THE SPORT ISNT GETTING ENOUGH MAINSTREAM EXPOSURE. this will cause the sport to lose a lot of talent to other more mainstream sports.

the powers that be need to try and make the sport more mainstream.
