Australian media is widely reporting that WBA light heavyweight champion Danny Green is planning to retire immediately. Green reportedly made the sudden decision to hang up the gloves on Easter Sunday morning and will make the official announcement on Tuesday. He is currently scheduled to make his mandatory defense against Hugo Garay on April 27. Stay tuned...

Danny held the WBA title and Hugo Garay was the mandatory challenger, so maybe if Garay is paid step-aside money then Hopkins-Calzaghe could be for the vacant WBA title.
