WBA Champ Danny Green To Retire?

The Sydney Morning Herald reports the WBA light heavyweight champion Danny Green is planning to announce his retirement. According to the report, Green, 35, made the decision to retire over the holiday weekend. He's been in camp training for his April 27 mandatory defense against Hugo Garay. The bout is now in jeopardy of not taking place. Green won the WBA title in December with a one-sided upset of Stipe Drews. [details]
