I think Paq's people went after the 135 weightclass just for this reason, it appears before hand "to have less talent." Wich it does, there's no one at 135 that can compare with Guzman's class, or Soto's swiftness.
They're protecting Paq. But I actually think David has a chance in beating Paq aslong as he gets has the right to gain weight on his own terms. But the ultimate motive behind moving Paq up to 135 is obviously the fact that there is less talent at 135.
Everyone with the exception of the late flawed looking Juan Diaz (who looked like a machine until his last lethargic performance), There's no lightweights that look like they pose too much of a threat. Kendal Holt and D. Diaz are the strongest (I think), so I'll give David a chance. If he comes to the fight prepared. If he comes not preparing for Paq's left, I can see him being surprised by it's speed for 12 rounds and David isn't a crafty fighter, he won't adjust to shots in a middle of a fight from what it looks like, he'll keep eating any punch until he can land his own. Plus Paq's left shoots out of his chest, not his shoulder, wich is rare in itself cause most strong hands come out of the shoulder. Not only that but he's a southpaw. But David is strong enough to last 12 I think, and I really wouldn't be surprised if he can pull out a Majority Decisison.Comment

Guzman would probably beat Pac with his snore fest tactics.I think Paq's people went after the 135 weightclass just for this reason, it appears before hand "to have less talent." Wich it does, there's no one at 135 that can compare with Guzman's class, or Soto's swiftness.

He would, I mean he's twice as fast as Marquez and just as accurate as Marquez. Guzman would turn the slop fest that's considered a "Paq fight" and clean that **** up swiftly. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a TKO in the process.Comment

Accurate and fast as Guzman is...he's a volume puncher. Not a counterpuncher. Plus he fights backing up baiting opponents to the ropes only to turn em around...get a quick combo in...and back up to the opposite side of the ring. Boring as that sounds it's worked for him. But backing up is the absolute last thing you should do when fighting pacman. His punch output will surely drop if he's getting bombed by Pac. Even if Guzman blocks most of the shots because he'll either be too tired or have is arms too sore to throw in bunches. He'll have little option but to back up. He gets knocked the **** out by the 1-2 if he backs straight up. End of story.Comment

Ok...since YOU'RE so sure that Guzman is THAT good...then dont forget he wants Pacquiao just as much as JMM. Guzman KNOWS he needs to go thru JMM in order to get a shot at Pacquiao. Yet all i ever hear is how bad Guzman would destroy Pacquiao. Wouldnt that mean JMM should be ****ting himself cuz Guzman sees JMM as a gatekeeper to Pac and that since Guzman is THAT good he'd destroy JMM just as easily??Comment
