Oscar : Why didn't you try to "box" Mosley the first time instead of tryin to match Hand Speed? Was it because you "boxed" Trinidad and didn't get the decsision? Did you think you had to showcase a brawl to win?
Bojado : You got all the handspeed anyone needs, you can pick apart everyone below welterweight, what do you think is preveting you from doing such?
Then I'd be a ****, and impose that it's lack of Floyd Sr, and Headmovement in Panchitos corner .
LOL nah, from what I've heard, fighters don't like dumb asses tryin to tell them what to do, and because I'm one of those *******s, I just wouldn't be able to resist. I'd probably eat a right hand or two, but to me, lol it'd be worth it.
Good idea for a thread...I have friends who have called boxers..got their numbers from 411. Back in 1962 a guy I know here in CT named Rick Kaletsky looked up Clay in Louisville and actually talked to the young Cassius Clay. The guy ended up following Ali throughout his whole career and he even befriended him to a cetain degree. He wrote a book called "Ali and Me, Through the Ropes." Another kid I grew up with called, among others, Rockin Robin Blake at his home through 411 and talked to him for close to 30 minutes.
PS: I used to prank call the **** out of Latrell Sprewell, tell him I was PJ and that I wanted to to choke me and ****...
funny stuff
a couple of my friends had Sprewell's number also.. They never got him to pick up though. Just the answering machine. I'm shocked he kept a number for any amount of time when bunch of people he didn't know were ringing him.
