  • Gavin Rees Fight ...????? N E 1 ..see It ?

i must have missed all the threads on the fight ...can anyone fill me in what happend ..****** boxrec said he was tkoed in teh 12th ....what the ****s is going on ??? why are all the good undefeated prospects losing fights??...williams,diaz ,katstidis, rees and more off to a bad start this year ...lol

Rees gave it a good shot but faded late. He showed a great heart and chin and put it all on the line in the last round going for a knock out and he got caught. Kotelnik looked pure class and it was obvious Rees wasn't on his level. Kotelnik called out Witter for a rematch and Hatton after the fight.

I saw it. Rees started off fast, getting home some good body shots early. Kotelnik is a very deliberate fighter who punches very accurately. It was like he was slowly turning the screws, applying more pressure as the fight wore on. Rees was catching some great shots gamely but he fell apart in the last round. It somewhat resembled the Cunningham-Huck fight of earlier this year.
