Zsolt Erdei WBO LHW Champ..How good is he?

Anyone seen this guy fight before? How good is he? He's the WBO lightheavyweight Champion but I never hear anyone talk about him and he doesn't seem to be willing to step up and fight the best in the division. He seems to love to fight out of Germany fighting average boxers and a bunch of journeymen. He has a good win over Julio Gonzalez back in 2004 (When he was a top 10 fighter) but that's the only win over a top 10 fighter on his record. His next "big fight" is against some dude with 16 fights.

He really fights no one and always likes to stay in germany.

Waste of a career and his "lineal" championship. They say Floyd should be stripped for not fighting the "top contenders", but Ricky Hatton and Baldomir are sure as hell better then Danny Santiago and Tito Mendoza.

Not great but he can hang with them imo. I don't know which champion is worse, Green or Erdei.

Don't they force boxing fights or he has to give up his belt?

i saw zsolt beat some dude in germany. he ain't bad. gotta nice hook and ok uppercut, he ain't a dancer for sure.

why go to america where no one knows you when you can make bank in germany fighting half-assed guys?
seems like good business, with little risk.
plus now he got the excuse that the other light heavies are tied up in other things.

                    LOL..OK I understand...so what's your prediction?

Erdei: "I have no problem with bigger boxers," in regard to his 6'3 challenger. "I'm the quickest boxer in my weight class and if, as they say, the better boxer wins that's me!"

Is he quicker than Chad Dawson??

If he gets KO'd by this unknown boxer I'll be LMAO.
