As for Cotto's win over Shane, i feel it was a solid win for him aswell, but also recognize that he too was past his prime. I give him a little more credit because Shane was more active, and seemed as if he still had more left in the tank than Oscar did.
shane is older than dlh............dlh fought floyd very well.........just as shane fought cotto very well..........floyd and cotto took those fights as money fights and there is nothing wrong with that.........cotto fans NOW use quintana as a top welter even though cotto destroyed him.......because he beat williams.........and they add 2 and 2 together and think cotto beats williams up......styles make fights......quintana and williams have to prove they are top welters now........cotto's resume and 5 last fights are not above floyd's resume, and his last 5 fights.........if one is much better than the other between either fighter, i don't see much of a difference in their comp at welter...................

How so by losing by a wider margin than Oscar did? NOTHING in EITHER fight shows they had "more in the tank" than the other. Both wins should be regarded on equal grounds.

Going back down to 147 is murder on a 36y/o fighter..
And Oscar just got his face fractured by Steve "2 pound" Forbes. Your point? Shane was on a 5 fight win streak prior to facing Cotto. He was active and showed that he was still very competitive. Oscar on the other hand, was inactive and had lost 3 of his last 5 fights prior to Floyd.

Serious question, if you are a BOXING fan why do you only post about Floyd Mayweather? Seriously I would like to know.

The bolded statement is a fair one. The reason why i say Shane had more left in his tank, is due to Oscar gassing in his fight with Floyd. Floyd is faaaaaaar from a busy fighter, and Oscar got tired doing practically nothing. Shane on the other hand was able to give Cotto a decent scrap all the way till the end. If Shane and Oscar were to meet tomorrow, who would u put your money on?

and both were competitive when they fought younger fighters in cotto and floyd............i really don't see your point........and you lied.........he didn't lose 3 out of his 5 before floyd........it was 2, one to hop AT MIDDLEWEIGHT .........and the other in a very close loss to shane in which many people thought dlh won including me..........dlh has never taken a beating, and neither has shane.........

Serious question, when you find yourself losing an argument, which is fairly often, why do you resort to attacking the poster?

Oscar got tired from missing and frustration , actually takes more out of you than landing , Oscar has always been mentally wired when he fights which is another reason he appears to tire its why Floyd Snr wants so bad for him to relax he knows it will enhance his stamina by quite a bit .

                      So what

Estrada was hurting Shane more than Cotto did..

Shane took everything Cotto dished out and was never hurt..

Shane is older and more shop-worn than Oscar..
