I hate to say it but Andy Lee. Mainly because of the hype Manny Steward was giving him. It's just one loss though and he'll be back. Yes Vera isn't the greatest, but that doesn't mean Andy can't learn from it and come back better.

Andy Lee. Although one loss is still just one loss, this was supposed to be his coming out party.

        Andy Lee.

Katsidis showed he could compete at that level. He was really beating Katsidis up at times. He just got careless and got caught.

Lee on the other hand, was beaten up and stopped.

And i Haaaaaaate Duke as well, glad to see them get tossed

Damn...I got to add my Hoyas to this question.
Actually it remains Andy...who can come back from this,it's only a loss.
But....I think not,he looked exposed to me.

                Lee by far!

Katsidis didn't lose anything his stock rose 10 fold. We have found someone to fill our Gatti void. I will watch Katsidis fight anytime!

Andy Lee was this weekend's biggest loser, he was badly exposed.

And that clown said he was ready for Pavlik......

Pavlik would KO Lee in 1 round.

I agree Andy Lee has suffered a terrible set-back. He was against a guy he should have beaten easily, knocked out, and had his rising star tarnished. Not to mention it was on an ESPN2 level- he hadn't even made it to HBO.

That's why I'm going to give the 'Biggest loser' award to Katsidis, though. Sure, he showed more skills and gained more fans than Lee; but he was so close. I'm going to take into account that he had the momentum, had his man...almost won- almost became champion- and then got knocked out.

Yes, Andy Lee is going to have the "exposed" label attatched to him now. Yes, he lost in a much more embarassing manner. But when Katsidis was almost one of the biggest winners of the year...I'm saying his loss stings the most. Andy Lee is a prospect who now looks worse.

Katsidis is an almost champion. He's a what-could-have-been. A chance lost. A dream stolen; he was so close. I mean, if HBO lets him toil in obscurity this loss could kill his mental game and thereby career. We'll have to see.

Very good point...I do think Katsidis will have his day assuming he doesn't snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory again!!!!
