Atleast Mayweather fought baldomir who was a big and natural welterweight.

Its either they are bandwagon jumpers, and root for whoever happens to be hot at the moment. Lets be sensible now. If the #2 WW is fighting the other ranked WW's en route to unifying the division, while the #1 WW is rematching the likes of Oscar and Hatton without giving the #2 welter a shot at the top, how can he possibly hold on the #1 spot?
