I'll admit it, I think he got a gift decision agast Santa Cruz in his last fight, but he showed up against Katsidis.. He got him early, then got knocked outta the ring and seemed on the verge of getting beat, and then he came back to win.. He was under some criticism, especially after his decision against Santa Cruz.. He fought tough, and he got the victory.. I feel happy for him.. Deep down, I was rooting for him

Casamayor although a very dirty mother****er, is an excellent fighter who RARELY gets the credit he deserves. This victory at this age must be great for him. I am happy for him too.

(Except the “slipped out of the ring” bull****... little class there, but hey it's a fighter after a 10 round war, i ll let adrenaline an instinct speak)

You know what? I said the same thing to my friends, haha.. The two top champs are both in their late 30's, haha, but I will say that they fought hard, and deserve to be champs

Because Casamayor's last fight was so abysimal most people are giving Katsidis all the credit for the excitement in this fight. I admit he's fun to watch- but Casa got my credit here. He earned respect for being drawn into a brawl by a younger, hard punching fighter- getting hurt- and coming back to win. I feel his victory was due to Katsidis's inexperience and sloppy defense...but you can't take anything away from Casamayor. Great victory- and it restores any tarnishing his last fight got him!
