I agree, why didn't the 10 count start the moment he was out of the ring???

He warned him for a very move he made. I was very surprised when Katsidis threw Casamayor down that he was not penalized with a point.

....My first impression was that it was a bad stoppage. After watching the reaction of Katsidis, and the slow motion replay I think it was the right thing to do. I like Katsidis alot after watching this fight. He's exciting, entertaining, and extremely humble and honest in defeat. He has a number of defensive flaws but I'm sure he is only going to get better. Although he doesn't have nearly the talent of Kostya, this mey be similar to the way Zoo's career went after an early loss to a veteran fighter. We shall see.

If he had fallen to the floor, he would have gotten a 20 count. He fell out onto the apron which is a 10 count.

I had it 84-83 Casamayor although I could see how some had it 84-83 Katsidis. That third round was a tough frame to score.

Casamayor won the 8th and won the 9th (even round cuz of deduction). He was well on his way to outpointing Katsidis anyway.

I don't think the referee was favoring either fighter. I think the stopage was the right thing to do, Katsidis got too over eager and made a mistake rushing in. He still made a fan out of me by the way he fought and the way he accepted his defeat, no excusess. If the fighter don't make excusess, the fans do it for him.
