Librado Andrade was a good win for Kessler

In Librado Andrade's fights since he fought Kessler he's looked awesome!

I think he's turning out to be a very good name on Kessler's resume. So, when people ask "who has Kessler beaten?" one name we perhaps should bring up is Librado Andrade.

So what do you all think, does Andrade's last two impressive wins make Kessler's win over Librado seem more significant?

Not at all, Librado is getting better every fight since hes still young so what he did a few fights ago really holds no weight in my eyes. Id say in a few more fights, Librado would be able to win a rematch. Now had Kessler stopped him then maybe that would be saying something because Librado's chin is the real deal.

Who does Andrade need to defeat, before you stop thinking he's just a bum?

He's actually a tough cookie and a very good fighter. I think the way Kessler handled him rather easily, winning every round, should be recognized as an indication of Mikkel being an elite fighter.

you can try all you want to legitimize Kessler but its not going to happen with what hes done so far. hes pretty young so maybe one day hell be "elite" but not even close as of now.

In every fight Andrade fights he takes massive shots. His defense is rather poor- but he's a perfect example of what HBO can do for your career if you look good in defeat. He went twelve with Kessler, so they rewarded him by putting him on a PPV undercard with Mack; he knocked him out. Now they put him on BAD; and against another limitied fighter- he won by KO. Now he's #1 challanger to the IBF -that's Bute, right? Watch. That's going to be another HBO televised fight. Maybe a BAD co-feature towards the end of the year. Bute-Andrade either a co-feature, a Championship boxing, or on the undercard of an HBO ppv. Though the prior two seem more likely to me.

It's crazy how HBO can make money with bums. jk

They've done worse. Andrade is an exciting fighter to watch. His limited skills ensure he's in close fights even when he wins. He'll either get smacked around and still win, get smacked around and lose- or worse, get smacked around and, if someone strong enough comes by- get knocked out. Either way, with his fists swinging, head flying back, and his ability to stop people o equally limited skill, HBO might have found a Gatti-esque fighter tonight. They thought it was Katsidis...maybe it was Andrade!
