with Morales their first fight was at 130. He gave Pac a rematch at the same weight had a slightly harder time making weight but still made it without too many problems. The 3rd fight was the problem. Since he was the one asking for the rematch he had no choice but to agree with the terms. If it was backwards and morales won the 2nd match Pac would have had no choice but fight at lightweight. But for JMM their 1st fight was at 126 and it was close. 2nd fight at 130 and it was close. So its only fitting that a 3rd fight be at 135. lol

First off. Whose that chick in your avatar? Gawd damn! Second. The reason Morales did it was simply for money. He was on a bad losing streak and Manny was the last big money he could make before he retired or planned on it. On that same token, Manny did mention in a recent interview he would rematch Marquez if the money was high enough. I think he'd prefer if Marquez would go up to 135lbs though. In all honesty, Manny is more a smart fighter over wanted the money first. I think he'll make sure he can function properly before he takes his paychecks. He's not gonna risk it anymore at 130lbs when he can't do as much as he'd like to. It's not like he's lying about the weight issues. His weight gain overnight is proof he's having problems.
