Joe is the only Elite fighter in that stable.
Macca NEVER beat ANYONE prior to his LOSS to Haye.
Unless you count an INACTIVE Braithwaite win as an elite win.

i dont think Enzo is particularly good at improving fighters technically he just whips them into tremendous shape to get the extra few % out of them IMO

The stable has been a huge success and Enzo has turned fighters like Gavin Rees into a world ****ing champion! He has got Gary Lockett a fight with Pavlik ffs and untill recently he was undefeated as a trainer. What do you expect of this guy? Enzo has made all these champions himself! he hasn't been given them to look after their fitness like other trainers (Emmanuel Stewart etc) he has actually turned them into champions himself.

The expectation is high because Enzo was voted trainer of the year, I would guess. To me, it's irrelevant because Joe is the only "important" fighter in the Calzaghe stable anyway. I like Macca, but like everyone else in the Calz stable, they don't possess the kind of talent that Joe has.

I always said macca and rees would lose hoefully joe c will restore some pride.
