One thing Bernard has done is faced much superior opposition. But what American fighter hasn't, compared to a European fighter on the same food chain..

and Pavlik would break his foot off in Kessler's inked up ass.

If Pavlik can be rocked by Taylor he'll be laid out by Kessler.

A fighter must be knocked out at some point in their career, so why not this one. It will be hard for Joe, but why cant Hopkins be knocked down or out? Is he not human?

Hopkins has one of the best chins ever, I don't see Calzaghe who is a volume puncher KO'ing BHOP

calzaghe is def. the better boxer and has a great chance of beating hopkins because of the fast hands and tremendous work rate. neither guy is a very strong puncher so the possibility of KO is very unlikely. especially with Hopkins unshakable chin> calzaghe showed he can take a punch also. this fight is ganna go the full 12 but i say calzaghe can take the W

I think a lot depends on whether Bernard plans to retire in the event of a loss. If Calzaghe's giving him a good hiding he might be tempted - in the second half of the fight - to throw caution to the winds and go for the knockout.

If he doesn't get it, at age 43, there's the chance he'll gas. Joe C wins after the referee decides BHOP's taking too much punishment (somewhere between rounds 9 and 12).

I wouldn't put money it, but then I wouldn't rule it out either.

No you wont Joe. You will win, but there will be no knockouts in this fight. Just lots of fouling and uglyness.
