After watching how Joe could have got a TKO in the Kessler fight, the ref stopped in during the 8th when Kessler was hurt with a body shot.
It's far more likely he could get a TKO over Hopkins than people think.

Kesslers defense is **** compared to hopkins. Kessler has the power and is way faster then hopkins and lands more punches, but kesslers defense is ass compared to hopkins. Hopkins best asset is his defense
