Watched the fight last night on Setanta, had a feeling Rees would lose a decision in a boring one, but it was a better fight than I thought it would be. As said before, it's hard to see how M'Baye lost to Rees in the first place!

Rees showed good heart throughout and proved he has a very good chin! I would like to see him fight at Lightweight in his next fight though.

I wonder what Enzo really thinks about Rees? Does secretly accept this guy aint world class or is he in fact deluded and believes Rees is a top draw operator?

              out classed, ref saved Gavin.
did anyone see frank warren moaning his **** off because Gavin had to fight the mandatory fighter and not a hand picked opponent, Frank this was the WBA not the WBO.

Anyone worth having their opinion heard knows that Rees is limited in power, but is fairly skillful and resourceful. He's young and he's overachieved, so he has the time and ability to come back. But its unlikely that he'll ever cause any truly big shakes in that division. He won the title by executing a perfect game-play, hiding his weaknesses, working on his strengths.

I have not heard an opinion of ANYONE who says contrary to that. So any talk of Rees being 'over-rated' or 'exposed' or 'hyped' is utter bull****.

Everyone on here saw this coming, I think. lol.

Rees is too small and plus he is not a world level fighter.

He's very good domestic fighter, borderline european championship level, at lightweight!
