i agree with the bull**** rankings as well.. cotto should be 1..
and joshua clottey should be higher as well

i honestly think they rank them according to their talent, and potential..

not by their victories the way it should be

Ricky had only one fight at 147 against Collazo and Ricky got a gift but got chased back down to 140. How does fighting one time at 147 make you a real Welter Weight?

I bet you rode the little yellow bus to school, huh?
        lol

Hatton was a welterweight that night fighting for the welterweight title. Being a former 147 lb champion he was qualified to challenge for Floyd's title. I'm also disappointed in Mayweather's title reign, but making **** up isn't going to prove anything.

Making **** up? How am I making **** up?

Ricky is campaigning at what weight class?

            140 right?

That makes him a Jr. Welter Weight.

Ricky got what was coming to him for trying to impersonate a Welter Weight. Althought Ricky was cheated by Cortez and by PBF, I think anyone would have had a hard time against those odds.

"My name is Floyd and I ain't trying to call out any welter weights."

            His words not mine.

Can it be anymore clear? I think not.

The Ring magazine has Floyd as 102 weeks in the Welterweight rankings. That means he was ranked top ten for that period of time, not that he has been the Ring champ for that time. Floyd won the Ring championship along with the WBC title against Baldomir who held those titles at the time of the fight. I know you would prefer them to just award titles to whoever your boyfriend is this week but I much prefer the old fashioned notion that they have to be won and lost in the ring. Mayweather beat Baldomir about 18 months ago and in that time has moved up in weight to outpoint the best fighter at 154 lbs and has beaten the number one fighter at 140 lbs in the two biggest fights of 2007. I think you'd be hard pressed to find legitimate criticism of Floyd's conduct unless you're on Cotto's nuts. Or Margarito's.

Fact: Floyd Mayweather said Cotto needed two more tune-up fights to fight him after the Bruseles fight.

Fact: The Bruseles fight was in Jan. of 05

Note: Paul Williams took out Sharmba Mitchell in 4

Floyd has not fought a Welter Weight since Nov 04, 2006

On Sept 09, 2008 Floyd will be facing ODLH. Oscar has not been a Welter Weight since the year 2001.

With this being said, Floyd will have had that WBC trinket for nearly 2 years with out defending it
against a true Welter Weight. WTF!

BTW, anyone who says that Ricky is a Welter Weight should be laughed at and banned from this forum.

Floyd has already said he is not trying to fight any Welter Weights.
Why is he still allowed to hang on to this belt?

                    OUCH!

                    Reality Check people!
Because he's the best in the world p4p and normal rules just don't apply to you if you are so much better than all the rest. No matter what people say about a possible Cotto Floyd or Margarito Floyd or Citron Floyd. He has proved the best in the world p4p and you cannot just say he is not as good in the 147 division because his natural weight is 130.

WOW! I bet if PBF pulled out his stick anywhere and asked you to suck it, your lips would be all over that stick huh? Damn.

                      Normal rules don't apply. LMAO!
Soon you will be telling me that Floyd can just call time out in the middle of a fight because he is special and normal rules don't apply to him because you say he is the best. LMAO ****ing fan boy.
