As far as the fight the one thing you really gotta love with Gomez is his fighting spirit - as most are already well aware. Cotto is at his best when his opponent is folding up and fading out.. Mentally I'm not sure if all the people who think they know Miguel Cotto completely understand him on this level.

Alfonso Gomez is going to make this alot more interesting than the great majority are expecting because he's going to be pushing back, and punching back, when most men would be giving up, and giving in. And this may not work with every elite champion - but it will work wonders with Miguel Cotto.

Miguel has never been more confident - and for good reason.. There is no better time to find out what his guts are really comprised of because as I've said on occasion; Miguel doesn't prefer to be in contested battles - he prefers to be administrating beat downs. Gomez is not going to go quietly in the night. I'm looking forward to this..

he deserves a break after them washed up fighters? so does Mayweather deserve a break after Hatton and Hoya?? I think mayweathers last 2 fights were better fighters. Mosley & Judah are has beens and Mayweather beat Judah like a year and a half b4 Cotto did, so how come Cotto gets credit for that?? Mayweather didnt get no credit for beating Judah
