these werent bad upsets guys, these were good, skilled fighters and each of these upsets was very good to watch! and the fights were competitive too!
ok well Lee vs. The Texan wasnt a huge amount of skill, but it got to be a slugfest torward the end! and besides, Lee was only a prospect, if you think about it he never really beat anyone whatsoever. maybe an ancient Carl Daniels? nah.

it wouldnt be all that fun if we already knew the outcome of every fight, you know. and these recent 'upsets' have really just been the underdog finding a way to win, its not like the underdogs were bums either.

1 things for sure bros that nothing is for sure in boxing anything can happen in that ring and in the history of the sport we've seen just that, there's no sure win against any1 but yea it could be the year of the upset :]

Well, chances are it could very well be Katsidis, Cotto, Floyd or Calzaghe, but so far, the only ones that have been upset were really "up-and-comers" that were being touted as the next big thing:

Williams was slowly becoming "the most feared fighter"
Diaz was seen as a gritty kid who could beat a LOT of top fighters
Lee was being touted as a great up and coming prospect, maybe ready for Pavlik.

So far it's really been fighters that were being hyped, then got beat. If that's the case then Calz and Floyd are less likely to be on that list, being that they're already P4P fighters. Cotto is also a P4P'r, but he could very well be in for a the biggest upset of 2008 if Gomez pulls off a win.

              But don't worry, he won't

you know, each of those fighters has the tools to pull off those upsets. I could see each and every one of those happening. altho not so much the Malignaggi and Judah ones, but they still have the tools to do it.

                    Who is next?
I wanna see Berto and JCC Jr step up this year. They've had enough fights against guys they were supposed to beat. They're both good, but they need to face someone ranked in the top ten. I'd pick Berto to fail before Chavez though. Neither one is invincible, but I think Chavez might be alittle tougher. Frankly, I wish they'd fight each other. Williams and Diaz might have lost, but they weren't exactly humbled or punked out. They'll be back, but Lee got his ass dealt with.
