This is my first time watching him fight and I wasn't really impressed.
He needs a lot of improvement and has lots of things he has to work before
he even has a chance against the Ghost.
Whether he was over-hyped, only time will tell but this is just one fight and it's too early to tell imo.

As stated before Steward's claims about being ready for Pavlik were promotional strategy which gained Lee a contract with TopRank.

It was promotional bs. Manny isn't dumb like people are making him out to be.

I never really got Steward's claims of Lee being ready for Pavlik, him saying that Lee had sparred with Taylor, Klitschko and Cintron never really mattered to me because sparring isn't actual fighting. I saw that he gets hit pretty easily and Pavlik would hit him all night with the right hand, I'm surprised Steward didn't see it.

I kept thinking if Codrington knocked him out in the second, Lee shouldn't have too much problem, especially at a lighter weight. I guess the wheels fell of this one a bit earlier than expected.
