Lets give Vera some credit!

i give credit to vera, but it was more lee being overhyped than anything. most people haven't even seen his fights and were just going by the words of his trainer and the media. vera is just all heart and chin and the fact that lee lost to him says alot

He fought his heart out tonight, never gave up and kept coming!
He would have got the win either way IMO and he deserved to win after that performance!

Yes sir, give credit where credit is due, honestly I didn't give this guy a chance against Lee when I first about the fight, he is a really awful fighter, hands down low, wide ass shots and very sloppy boxing skills but the kid has heart and determination and a hell of a chin so he deserved the W.

It's etither that Vera's chin has improved by moving down a weight class or Lee doesn't punch that hard.

I agree. He was supposed to lose, but he came and gave everything he had, and so deserves a lot of respect. And, he's a tough cookie, he took a lot of hard punches tonight, and didn't go down a secong time.

Yea he trained really hard, gotta give him a lot of credit for his performance. Very gutsy.

ANd Codringtons Power Stock sky rockets after this, although it was at 168 pounds

Oh no...i give vera all the credit in the world...even though it was a bad stoppage time (should have went on a little longer to eliminate ANY doubt and give lee a fair opportunity) vera was more than likely (in my opinion he was going to WITHOUT A DOUBT) stop him...

at the point of the stoppage i was convinced vera was going to knock him out anyway...

i was hoping vera would win...i just wished he would have gotten the actual knockout or a more convincing stoppage...now his victory will more than likely be overshadowed by a poor stoppage...

he's still a bit rough around the edges but with some work he might do some really good things...
