he makes people famous? wow. no one would even watch floyds fight unless the opponent that he will fight has a huge fanbase. oscar would fight forbes(not popular) still would have the whole place sold out. pavlik fought taylor had the place sold out. pacquiao fought solis in san antonio and had the place sold out. now why can't floyd fight someone and have the place sold out? the answer he doesnt have a fan base. so in all honesty it is floyd who is getting famous by the opponents that he hand picks that has a huge fan base.

seriously?i mean,nobody denies his skills nobody.yet these "fans"refuse to acknowledge the fact that he's a boxer fighting a wrestler.this **** is ridiculous this is the kinda **** ali and joe louis where relegated to make money when they where geezers,and they still defend when he's doing this at the peak of his skill.those who defend him aren't boxing fans,there floyd fans and floyd fans only.

Floyd doesn't need cotto at all. his legacy is cemented, only hardcore cotto fans and us hardcore boxing fans want this fight. the average boxing fan will happily watch floyd fight any "name" fighter.
I really hope the fight does happen, but i dpubt it will.Comment

Like i've said numerous times....Floyd rides the coat-tails of popular fighters in order to profit off of thier drawing power/fanbase. Hatton sells out arena's nomatter who he's fighting. Oscar did just shy of 1mil ppv buys fighting Mayorga. Why do u think Floyd is so-called waiting for Cotto to become a major superstar before he is willing to fight him? So that he can profit off of Cotto's drawing power due to the fact that Floyd himself has none.
