He does not do everything perfect. Not even close.Well, I just rewatched the Marquez, Pac fight and thought about how great of a boxer JMM is. In my opinion one of the best technical boxers of this era. He does everything seemly perfect. So then something clicks. Wait a second, another cat thinks he's the best. They've both fought or are at 130lbs, so let's assume they fought each other. Not so hard.
First of all, he's got absolutely no defense for a straight left.
After the first fight I expected JMM to at least neutralize Pacman's left hand.
He didn't.
He counters too wildly, swinging away with imprecise shots.
He's not cold enough to time Pac properly. Maybe too much of a warrior for that, who knows?
Floyd does all those things better, smarter, harder and faster at 130.
Easy pick in my mind.Comment
