i love this dude ive followed his last 10 fights...

his management has been doing an excellent job...

every opponent is a little bit better than the last..

even tho the last guy he fought, ******... he wasnt supposed to suck..

in the next yr or so, he will be fighting for a belt... and he ll do a damn good job

I agree with you, Berto is one of the up and coming young stars in the Welter division and a true force to be reckoned with. Just like my boy Mike Katsidis at Lightweight, my boy Berto doesn't pull any punches and brings excitement to all of his fights, hits hard as **** and can put up some amazing fast and powerful combinations. Like you said though he needs to improve on his defense but in all honesty it's really hard to tame a wild beast such as Berto, aggressiveness is his nature and I don't see him improving much defensively.

Berto is the 2nd coming of Meldrick Taylor. Great offense, gets hit waaaay too much!! He will beat some people. However, h'es gonna have hell against some of the divisions brawlers. Cotto, Margarito, Mosely... When they dont go away by the 6th or 7th round, and he's taken all that punishment to the body, what will he do??

I see him and Cotto as another Chavez/Taylor type fight with the brawler winning due to intense body work...
