What if anything have you seen that's similar in their fights.. please, tell me.
I'll take your bet... even though the fight will never happen.
Damn De you are better than this. I wasn't reffering to Hatton/Cotto comparison skillwise. I was reffering to then fanwise. Their FANS will leave this board just like plenty of Hatton fans who said he would "smash up that monkey" have been long gone.

Saying Hatton and Cotto are the same skillwise is equivalent to saying that Cotto and Mayweather are the same skillwise. They're not, Cotto is more skilled than Hatton and Mayweather is more skilled than Cotto.

The difference between the two that makes the fight interesting is Cotto's offensive powerhouse has to get by the obstacle of Floyd's great defense. Clearly that is where the fight will have to be won by Cotto. He is going to have to break Floyd down, like he has done to most opponents in order to win. If he can't connect enough, he will likely just be outpointed by one shot at a time, because you know Floyd isn't going to go toe-to-toe with Cotto. Just too big of a guy to take the risk of going toe-to-toe.

COTTO would wreck his body ALA Castillo but with more power and better boxing skills. He isnt going to run up and clinch with Floyd LIKE HATTON did giving him chance to tie his arms up, use his fore-arms and throw one shot and get out of the way. Floyd knows this and this is why we will NEVER see that fight..

please dont make me pull of links where Floyd has said he wants no part of Cotto.

Well Castillo wrecked Floyd for the most part when Floyd got stuck on the ropes (which was damn frequent in that fight). If Cotto could put him on the ropes that much, and is as good as Castillo, he would likely get the better of Floyd. My personal opinion is that he is better than the Castillo that Floyd fought, but I have my doubts about whether he can pin him on the ropes as much. He has broken that habit for the most part since that fight. The x-factor is how much good work Cotto can do in the middle of the ring, which is supposed to be Floyd's territory.

I'm starting to have my doubts that the fight ever comes off though.

Use a little common sense and maybe you can inject some sense into your brain.

Fake Floyd himself admitted that he is a coward and that he fights just for himself.
