Both Cotto and Arum went on the record to say that they are interested in a fight with Floyd. When the same question was presented to Floyd, he said, well we know what he said. No need to keep repeating.

What fights are set up? Cotto is scheduled to fight Gomez in 3 weeks, and then the winner of Cintron/Margarito. After that he's free. Floyd is fighting Bigshow this month (lol), then Oscar in Sept. A Dec showdown would be ideal.

Don't forget about Mayorga. I know they said the are interested in the fight but still i have never heard someone use the term interested in a way of calling someone out. He needs a lesson from Ricardo Mayorga in that, then he might get the fight.

I think that Floyd saying he wants cotto to improve his name is a load if crap. I know VIVA uses it quite a bit, but I've heard some other posters credit JoartCC for it's original useage. I know arguing with JoartCC he said it almost in every post. Maybe there should be an investigation on who really was the original creator of the phrase. As it's starting to become a phenomenon.

In truth, Cotto is indeed a very dangerous opponent for Floyd because of his toughness, strength, will and body punching.

And vice versa; Mayweather is a dangerous opponent for Cotto because of his smarts, skills, speed and counter-punching abilities.

These arguments are starting to become more and more like fanboy-wars than intelligent discussions.

I think Mayweather is the best WW, but I think Cotto is the more accomplished one.
