You do realize there are still LEGITIMATE WW's Cotto hasn't beaten right? Marg, Cintron, Clottey. They are still out there for Cotto to face. FLOYD is the best WW in the world but he still has to prove it himself.

IMO... cotto is the more established WW fighter...

but he isnt an actual better, more talented, more capable fighter than Floyd.

And I sincerely believe he will lose if he ever fights Floyd.

But I will say hes the more active fighter at WW, and at least trying to fight other top 10 WW's.

otto is the more accomplished at WW. Floyd is THE BEST at WW. Stop trying to give Cotto the spot by default, it's petty. Floyd is the best and when Cotto get's his shot you can finally shut your trap you ig.........I won't even go there.

belt but at this point does it really matter. Baldo certainly wasn't the BEST WW in the world but he got his shot becuase Judah looked at him as a pushover un til he got his money fight with Mayweather.

Cotto's recent win over Mosley and his destruction of QUINTANA certainly proves that Cotto, right now, is the best WW in the world. Quintana was coming off a impressive performace against a fellow undefeated WW in Julio when Cotto KO'd him. And since then he has beatin another undefeated prime WW PW, who knocked Margarito off the top of the WW list.

Im not implying that Cotto is the "CHAMP" .but he certainly has proved that he is the best WW in the world.

I love how before the Cotto nuthuggers were all over his winds over Mosley and Judag, Quintana dain't mean ahit but then cause Quintana beat Williams suddenly thats a win that the nuthuggers type in FULL CAPS to emphasis it. Right now i think Floyd is the best welterweight, however if/when Cotto beats Gomez, Mayorga and the winner of Cintron/Mararito i would give him the number 1 spot. Unfortunatly though, when Cotto gets all those wins Floyd will fight him, beat his ass and take all the titles, reclaiming his throne.
