The guy's right, I thought Shilstone was undefeated then I found this:

    http://www.buy.com/prod/championship...40725184.html#

An intense inside look at three-time light-heavyweight champion Roy Jones, Jr. preparing for his highly anticipated rematch with Antonio Tarver. First we take you to New Orleans where fitness guru Mackie Shilstone and his Square Ring boxing team help Jones perfect his physical fitness and boxing techniques. Then we travel to Las Vegas into the middle of the circus-like frenzy of the media, the fight fans and the promoters and get a close-up look at all the events leading up to the fight, from the unusual press conference to the weigh-in to the locker room. Once you've been inspired, you'll be ready to hit the ropes yourself as we break down the pro circuit training used by Jones and other world-class athletes. Shilstone demonstrates 12 muscle-building exercises and coaches you through a 20-minute workout designed to achieve and maintain the highest physical condition...just like a champion!

This is how Hopkins inserts himself into another fighters psyche, Joe keeps sayin he aint gonna be affected but is already being ****** into a classic Hopkins mind game.

        Quote:
Everlast: How does training boxers differ from the other types of athletes you train?

MS: First of all, boxing is a totally unique sport. Boxing is the only sport where a boxer has a license to kill. If a man hits another man, and the other man doesnt get up, no one goes to jail. Inside the ring, theres no difference between boxing and war. The ring is the theater of operations, with a Geneva Convention called a referee. Everything else is a childs sport. Boxing is controlled aggression. When we (Jones Jr.) fought John Ruiz, we went in there to break his nose, get him to breathe through his mouth, target his chest with shots; essentially reverse CPR to slow his heart rate. Tarver was lucky he didnt have his jaw broken, because that was the goal in training Bernard. I consulted with surgeons as to how to break a jaw. We called Tarver a cobra, because cobras only have one type of attack. I had Bernard Hopkins reading about mongooses, an animal particularly effective in killing cobras. So what Im getting at is that all the other sports pale in comparison. Boxers literally have to look out for their lives.

yo wtf!...no wonder B-hop hires this guy, its like they're both cut from same cloth...

              Hahaha. Sure he is.

In ALL his fights, I've never seen Calzaghe behave any differently. This one included.

Its the interviewers who keep bringing up hopkins mind games. Calzaghe dont give a **** he knows he can win it, doesn't need to kid himself and psyche himself up

I'm posting this here cause it's the most recently active calzaghe thread.. but does anyone get the feeling Calzaghe takes more pride in being italian than he does in being Welsh? At the end of Macca's knockout in the below video Cal runs out in the Italian jersey. Maca has the Italian flag on his shorts.. If you didn't already know Calzaghe was Welsh then you'd naturally assume he was italian. No bashing just saying.

                      It's like America.

Like how you guys are always American something else.

                      Irish-Americans Italian-Americans, African-Americans.

Joe is a Welsh-Italian. He was born in Hammersmith, but you'll find about 20 million people that have been born there it's a huge maternity hospital. Doesn't make him English.

                      He's Welsh-Italian.

My Nan has a cousin whose daughter married a Calzaghe. Going to call him cousin Joe. LOL.
