Calzaghe Chuckles at Hopkins' "Dream Team"

NEWBRIDGE, WALES - While Ol' Bernie Hopkins prepares with his 'Dream Team' of trainers for his super-fight against JOE CALZAGHE at the Planet Hollywood Ring on April 19 in Las Vegas, for Calzaghe it will be the same formula that has worked for his entire career: just father and son. [details]

Cal will be fully prepared for BHop and if it DOES become toe-to-toe everyone will get there money's worth. **** I can't wait for the 19th.

On a side note I don't think I have ever seen a Calzaghe interview where he hasn't mentioned Jeff Lacy at least once. I mean you whooped the guys ass but shiot you love to mention it.

I'm new to the forum but this is a pretty interesting fight style wise. Calzaghe likes to set a high pace with a very high output of punches but against a physical fighter like B-Hop he's going to need to put more pop on his punches rather than his usual slapping tactic. I dont think Cal has enough power to keep Hopkins at bay I think in the end Hopkins physical and bruising style will frustrate him and take that 'O' from the Welshmen.

If you did that to 'the second coming of mike tyson' wouldn't you shout about it?

I think the Kessler win was so much better

I changed my opinion about this fight, I like Hopkins TKO 11, now.

The fight is getting closer , the fighters are here and they say the same old things. Hopkins does this and Calzaghe does that. Why doesn't anyone just keep their mouthes shut and take care of business in the ring? I mean, I like the buildup as much as the next fellow, but this is getting childish.

I think Calzaghe will simply outwork Bernard. Bernard will turn it ugly. He may even cut Joe up, but Calzaghe will get the job done.

Bernard is out there hiring a dream team of trainers!LOL If that is not a recipe for conflicting disaster I don't know what is.
